Traditional Floral Engagement & Puja Setup
Grand Stage Setup
- Floral Backdrop: 20ft to 24ft wide backdrop using a hybrid arrangement. Lower 6ft features fresh fragrant flowers (Mallige/Jasmine, Rajnigandha) while the upper section uses premium silk hydrangeas for volume.
- Furniture: Vintage 2-seater couple sofa (Gold or Silver leaf finish) with two side chairs on a carpeted stage riser.
- Traditional Motifs: Integration of banana leaves, lotus hangings, or floral symbols.
Aisle & Entrance
- Walkway: 6 to 8 brass or crystal pillars lining the aisle, topped with dense floral bouquets.
- Entrance Arch: Fabric draped gate accented with thick floral runners.
- Welcome Area: Brass Urlis with water, floating petals, and candles.
Lighting & Ceremonial Needs
- Illumination: Central crystal chandelier (truss dependent) or hanging stage lamps, plus warm white LED wash lighting.
- Puja Items: Provision of Bajots (low stools) and Havankund hardware (consumables not included).

Thematic Stage Construction
- 3D Fabrication: Custom designed 20ft backdrop featuring high quality styrofoam or fiber props (e.g., giant seashells, coral reefs, or castles) painted to theme.

- Cradle Decor: Decoration of the baby's cradle (structure included) with high density floral garlands and fabric draping.
Venue Styling & Props
- Ceiling Decor: Hanging elements like wisteria, crystals, or paper lanterns installed over the seating or stage area.
- Walkway Props: 4 to 6 large free standing fiber props placed along the entrance or near the stage.
- Entrance: 10ft x 10ft fully themed archway (foliage/wood/balloon mix) with a personalized welcome easel.
Logistics & Lighting
- Lighting: LED PAR cans for color washing and profile spots to highlight the cradle.
- Execution: Includes 8 to 10 member specialist crew and trucking for heavy prop transport.

My own family’s Varamahalakshmi puja last year? We did a grand Ashtalakshmi event decor and it hit different, reminded me why I started.
