Outdoor Haldi & Mehendi Decor Package
Stage & Backdrop
- 10ft x 8ft thematic backdrop using fabric draping and floral installations.
- High volume of Marigold and Tuberose garlands mixed with foliage or pampas grass.
- Traditional Jhoola (Swing) or Peacock wicker chairs with colorful throw pillows.
- Approx. 150 sq ft of printed flex flooring or colorful rugs.
Props & Detailing
- 4 to 6 Large Brass Urlis with water and floating petals/candles.
- Thematic installations (painted cycles, auto rickshaw cutouts, or photo booth signage).
- Designated ritual zone with brass vessels and low seating stools.
Guest Setup
- 20 to 30 Tiffany or Chiavari chairs with colored seat pads.
- Welcome easel with floral bunching and fabric draped entrance arch.
- Basic PA system (2 Speakers + Mic) for background music.
Traditional Muhurtham & Mandap Decor
The Mandap Structure
- Grand 4 pillar or 6 pillar structure (min 12ft x 12ft) with temple motifs or gold fiber finish.
- Heavy South Indian floral work using Jasmine (Mallige), Tuberose, and Red Roses.
- Full floral wrapping of pillars and dense floral ceiling inside the Mandap.
- Two high back Maharaja/Maharani chairs, Havan Kunds, and low seating for priests.
Hall & Walkway
- 40ft to 60ft aisle lined with fresh floral runners and brass Kuthu Vilakku lamps.
- Grand floral entrance arch with Ganesha idol placement and hanging brass bells.
- Hanging floral chandeliers or fabric swags over the audience area.
Tech & Logistics
- Warm white Par can lighting for general illumination.
- VIP Sofa seating for 10 to 12 pax.
- Standard chair styling (bows/sashes) for up to 100 guest chairs.
- On site decor supervisor for ritual timeline management.
Large-Scale Reception & Sangeet Production
Grand Stage Production
- Massive stage setup (40ft to 60ft width) tailored to large ballrooms.
- Custom fabricated backdrop using acrylic, mirror panels, or sequins with large scale props.
- Mix of artificial silk flowers for structure and fresh exotic blooms (Orchids, Roses) at eye level.
Hall Ambience
- Ceiling treatments including hanging wisteria, fairy lights, or fabric waves.
- High gloss mirrored or vinyl ramp/aisle leading to the stage.
- Centerpieces for up to 30 tables (Tall Candelabras or Crystal vases).

How It Goes Down

Ceremonies, Sorted
- Haldi & Mehendi: Bold colours, marigolds everywhere, banana leaves, urli, and a real traditional vibe. I can even set up for the Mangalasnanam if you want.
- Sangeet/Cocktail: Glam, glitter, disco balls, neon signs like ‘Drunk in Love’. Basically, party mood.
- Muhurtham: From custom mandap design (simple or grand) to flower garlands and classic Ganesha touches. I know my way around traditional South Indian wedding decor.
- Reception: Big on floral wedding arches, mirrored aisles, soft lights, and those little details that actually matter.

My Story
Hey, we’re Nalesa, and honestly, we just get celebrations. Been at this since 1995. It’s not numbers for us - it’s about being there for those big hugs, happy tears, family chaos, all of it. My own family’s Varamahalakshmi puja last year? We did a grand Ashtalakshmi event decor and it hit different, reminded me why I started. Every event, every family, it’s all about making those moments count.
