About this collection
Before we begin, a practical note on surface preparation: wallpaper holds best on walls that are smooth, dry, and finished with putty and primer. If your walls are still raw cement or have loose paint, a quick round of prep work helps me ensure the patterns align correctly and the finish lasts for years without peeling.
My work focuses on the technical execution of wallpaper installation. Whether I am applying a large-scale scenic mural for a living room or branded graphics for a corporate office like Medtronic, the goal is always a seamless, bubble-free finish.
My Approach to Installations
- Surface Assessment: I always check the wall condition first. High-quality wallpaper requires a stable base, which is why I often recommend a fresh coat of primer.
- Pattern Alignment: For repeating patterns like damask or geometric shapes, I spend time matching the design at every seam. This prevents the 'patchwork' look and makes the wallpaper look like a solid, integrated piece.
- Custom Murals: These require specialized handling. I use a butt-joint technique for large images to ensure the design flows without visible overlaps or distortions, particularly for 3D landscapes or children's room themes.
Areas of Focus
- Residential: I work on everything from kids' bedrooms with bright cartoon themes to living room feature walls using textured or floral prints.
- Commercial: I provide installation services for offices, clinics, and shops. I understand that commercial spaces need to be durable, so I use strong, commercial-grade adhesives suited for high-traffic areas.
