About this collection
I manage the entire setup so you do not have to scramble on the day. My studio sessions include the outfit, the eggless cake, and the cleanup. We start with a clean portrait to get the classic shots, then move to the messy cake smash where your baby calls the shots. It usually takes about 90 minutes, and I keep the pacing slow so your little one feels comfortable, not rushed.
How the Session Works
Every first birthday milestone is different. Some babies dive right into the cake, while others need a little encouragement or time to warm up. I plan for both. My sessions follow a simple flow: we begin with a clean portrait session using your choice of themes, from playful beach setups to traditional festival backdrops. This gives us those classic, frame-worthy photos before the mess begins.
Once we have those, we bring out the cake. I provide the eggless smash cake, so there is no need for you to worry about ingredients or allergies. The 'smash' part is where the real personality comes out. Whether your child is curious, surprised, or just wants to wear the frosting like a hat, my job is to be ready to capture those genuine reactions.
