When you sit in my chair, we do not just start cutting. We spend 15 minutes in a dedicated face-shape analysis and a technical audit of your hair density and texture. Whether you are struggling with monsoon frizz or looking for a completely new color family, I want to understand what is bugging you before I touch a single strand. It is about fixing your specific hair problem, not just following a trend.
Why a Consultation is Non-Negotiable
Many clients walk in asking for a specific Instagram look, but that style might not work for their natural hair texture or face shape. My process starts with a 15-minute diagnostic session. I examine your hair’s porosity, density, and existing damage levels. If you are dealing with frizzy roots or dry ends, we prioritize scalp health before suggesting a cut or color. This ensures the health of your hair is never compromised for the sake of a style.
The Technical Breakdown
- The Audit: I look at your face shape (Round, Oval, Square) to determine where the weight needs to be removed or added. This is the difference between a generic haircut and one that actually flatters you.
- Precision Cutting: I use point-cutting and slicing techniques. This manages bulk and creates movement, so your hair does not just look good at the salon but falls naturally when you wake up the next morning.
- Custom Color Formulation: Whether you are going for copper or a classic blonde, I mix the color based on your skin tone and your maintenance capacity. I do not believe in a one-shade-fits-all approach.
What Happens When You Leave
My job does not end when you leave my Andheri, Oshiwara, or Malad salon. I provide a home-care roadmap. If you have curly hair, I teach you 'Squish to Condish' methods. If you have colored hair, I explain why cold water and specific serums are your best friends.
