About The Makeover Process
Before we even touch a brush, we sit down for a real talk. I need to know your hair history, specifically if you have used box dyes or if you are dealing with stubborn frizz, because guessing with chemicals is how damage happens. We map out the plan, check your hair health, and only then do we start the transformation.
My Step-by-Step Approach
1. The Deep Dive Consultation Every makeover begins with a conversation. I don't just ask what color you want. I look at your skin tone, your daily routine, and the current condition of your hair. If you have done box dyes at home, I need to know. We discuss what is realistic so we can manage expectations before we mix any color.
2. Precision Color & Technique Whether we are doing a Global Color, a Balayage, or a vivid fashion transformation, the technique matters. I use professional ranges like Schwarzkopf IGORA for consistent results. For balayage and highlights, I map out the placement so the grow-out looks natural. If we are going for vivid shades, I handle the pre-lightening process to ensure we reach the right level safely.
3. Integrity is Non-Negotiable I never sacrifice hair health for a trend. If your hair is damaged, I will recommend treatments like Hair Botox or Keratin before or alongside your color service. I include bond builders like Olaplex in my chemical mixes to keep your hair strong during the lifting process. Your hair should look and feel better when you leave than when you walked in.
4. The Cut & Maintenance A great color needs a great cut to show it off. I finish the service with a structural cut and a blowout to frame your face correctly. Before you leave, I give you a clear roadmap on how to maintain your look, including washing tips, frequency, and recommended aftercare products. If you stick to the advice, the result lasts.
