Step away from the typical golden hour photos. We use the ocean, the night sky, and real fire to capture your chemistry in a way that feels like a scene from a moody, cinematic film.

An atmospheric shot of two lit torches resting on a rock in the water at night, their flames reflected in the dark water. This sets the scene for a dramatic and fiery beach pre-wedding photoshoot.

A creative double exposure in black and white, showing a couple back-to-back on the beach holding torches, with the words "Two souls, one now". This is a great example of an artistic save the date concept.

A collage of two images from a night beach shoot, showing the couple interacting with flaming torches. The warm light of the fire creates a cinematic and romantic mood, perfect for a unique pre-wedding album.

A stunning solo portrait of the bride-to-be in a red dress, holding a flaming torch against the dark night sky. This highlights her elegance and strength in a powerfully composed shot.

A solo portrait of the groom-to-be, sitting contemplatively on a rock by the sea while holding a lit torch. The image has a grainy, film-like quality, adding to the moody and romantic atmosphere of the Goa pre-wedding shoot.

A high-contrast black and white photo of the bride-to-be, her face illuminated by the flame of a torch she holds. This artistic shot plays with light and shadow to create a powerful and mysterious portrait.

A candid black and white shot of the groom holding a torch, the flame lighting up his profile against the darkness. This captures a quiet, strong moment during our cinematic beach session.

About this collection

Shooting at night by the ocean is not just about the darkness, it is about controlling the flame. We use actual torches, which means the light is moving, flickering, and constantly changing, giving your portraits a raw, cinematic quality that static studio lighting cannot replicate. It takes a bit more time to get the focus just right, but the mood it creates is unlike anything else.

When we plan these night sessions, we are effectively working with the elements. Unlike daylight shoots where the sun does most of the work, these sessions require us to be intentional about every shadow and flare. I use my Sony gear to keep the images crisp even in low light, making sure the grain adds to the atmosphere rather than ruining the shot.

Why choose a night beach session?

If you feel awkward posing, the dark actually helps. Because you are focused on the torch and the movement of the fire, you tend to stop thinking about the camera. That is when the real, unscripted moments happen. It is not about looking perfect, it is about looking real. Whether we are in Navi Mumbai or traveling to Goa, I handle all the lighting setups so you just need to show up and be yourself.

How we make it work

  • Planning: We scout the location to ensure the tide is low enough for us to work safely.
  • Lighting: We use real fire torches to provide a natural, warm, and flickering light source that creates those deep, moody shadows.
  • Movement: You do not need to stand still. We will move, walk, and interact with the environment, and I will capture those candid, fleeting connections.
  • Team: For the more complex shots, I often work with a partner to ensure we have multiple angles covered simultaneously.

If you have a specific, wild idea for a night shoot, let's talk about it. Whether it is a save-the-date announcement or just a memory you want to keep, we will make it happen.
