It all started with a search for the perfect outfit for my own son. In this video, I share the personal story of why I founded Vern Kids: to create a space where boys' ethnic fashion is celebrated with beautiful, handcrafted designs.

About The Vern Kids Difference: Our Process
We don't believe in one-size-fits-all, especially when it comes to kids. Our process starts by listening to what your boy actually wants—whether it’s a specific color, a favorite cartoon character, or just a style that doesn't feel stiff or scratchy. We build every garment from scratch with soft, skin-friendly fabrics and concealed seams, so your child can play freely while looking sharp at every wedding or birthday function.
At Vern Kids, we believe boys deserve the same excitement and variety in their wardrobe that girls often have. My journey started with a simple problem—I couldn't find anything special for my own son—and it evolved into this platform where we prioritize craft as much as style.
The Custom Journey
Every outfit we create is made-to-order, often at our base within Telon in Santacruz, Mumbai. When you reach out to us, we don't just take measurements. We discuss the event, the level of comfort your child needs, and the specific vibe you are aiming for. Whether it is a traditional Jodhpuri set for a family wedding or a statement bomber jacket for a birthday party, we sketch the design, select the fabric, and get to work.
Why Fabric Choice Matters
As a mom, I know that if an outfit is itchy or stiff, your son will not want to wear it for more than five minutes. That is why we exclusively use premium, breathable fabrics like Modal Satin, Cotton Silk, and soft Linen blends. We finish the inside of our garments with concealed French seams to ensure that embroidery or heavy sequins never rub against delicate skin. We treat these pieces with the same level of detail as high-end adult couture, but with the practical needs of a child in mind.
