Hands-On Creative Workshops for Kids & Adults
We trade boring textbooks for real tools and experiences. Whether it is building with wood, mastering robotics, or exploring traditional art, we help learners build confidence through doing.
This is what hands-on learning looks like. In my woodworking workshops, kids get to use real tools to measure, saw, drill, and build projects from scratch. I prioritize safety and guidance, ensuring every child feels empowered and proud of what they create.
Watch as young artists bring traditional Pichwai art to life on canvas cushions. This video captures the focus and creativity in one of my workshops at NMACC, ending with the proud moment when they get to show off their beautiful, hand-painted creations.
My Family LEGO Day is where collaboration and imagination come together. This video shows a massive city being built brick by brick by kids and parents alike. It's a perfect activity for community events where all generations can connect and create together.
The smile of accomplishment is the best reward. Here, a young participant proudly displays the Warli art book she created herself. My workshops focus on teaching traditional patterns and forms, allowing kids to make something beautiful and culturally rich to take home.
I've introduced Mah-Jinn, a unique, kid-friendly version of the strategic game Mahjong. This is a fantastic screen-free activity that boosts cognitive skills, pattern recognition, and decision making, all while being incredibly fun for kids aged 9-15.
Getting into the festive spirit with a special Christmas woodworking workshop. In this session, kids get to build their own wooden Christmas tree, learning practical skills while creating a unique piece of holiday decor. These seasonal workshops are a favorite every year.
About Featured
We do not do passive learning. In our woodworking sessions, your child will handle real saws, drills, and hammers under strict 1:5 supervision, while our tech camps focus on building robots rather than just reading about them. We prioritize that 'aha' moment when a child solves a problem themselves, leaving the 'faltu' (useless) theory at the door.
At Varahaa, our workshops are designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and real-world application. We operate across Mumbai, including dedicated spaces in Prabhadevi and Khar, and offer home-visit playdates for complete convenience.
Our curriculum spans several key areas:
- STEM & Tech: From LEGO engineering and robotics to AI and cybersecurity, we teach concepts that prepare children for a digital future.
- Traditional Arts: We keep culture alive through modern workshops on Lippan, Warli, and Pichwai art, helping kids connect with Indian heritage using professional supplies.
- Cognitive Development: We run screen-free logic games like Mahjong, alongside sessions on public speaking and creative writing to foster critical thinking and social skills.
Whether you are looking for a weekly hobby class or an intensive holiday camp, our approach remains consistent: hands-on, mentor-led, and centered on the joy of creating. For the adults, we also offer tech literacy and wellness workshops ranging from sound healing to financial basics. We believe that learning should be fun, engaging, and genuinely useful, regardless of your age.
