See how I translate ideas into handmade crochet art. Every stitch is part of a slow, conscious process—from choosing the yarn to the final knot.

The ultimate test of a crocheter's skill and patience: working with black yarn. It can be so hard to see the stitches, you often have to rely on faith and a good flashlight. But the elegant result is always worth the struggle.

Working with my hands is a form of meditation for me. Each stitch is a movement that quiets the mind and soothes the soul. It’s a productive way to create happiness, one loop at a time.

The classic thought of every crocheter when they see expensive knitwear in a store: "Ye toh main khud bana lungi" (I can make this myself). It's our superpower.

A new project begins. It starts with a customer's vision, a little bit of modification, and a whole lot of beautiful purple yarn. I can't wait to see how this turns out.

A work in progress on a tricky colorwork project. This mosaic crochet pattern requires a lot of focus and patience with all the color changes, but the geometric result is so satisfying to watch unfold.

Sometimes you fall in love with a stitch. This one is so smooth, dense, and satisfying to create. The bold red yarn just makes it even more obsessive.

Giving shape to a customer's vision. This is the beginning of a new order, where I translate an idea into a tangible, handmade piece. Every project starts with this exciting first step.

I'm creating this special piece for one of my most favorite customers. Her constant support and appreciation make my work feel even more fulfilling. It’s a joy to crochet for her.

A thought that is central to my craft. There are no machines that can replicate what we do by hand. Every crochet item has a history and a story, created with love. It is truly a piece of handmade art.

A nap may rest your body, but finishing your work will rest your mind. For me, there is no greater satisfaction than completing a project I've poured my heart into.

About The Art of Crochet: Behind the Stitches

You might think crochet is just about a hook and yarn, but there’s actual math in the madness. When I’m creating my motif-based tops, it’s not just stitching—it’s puzzle-solving. Each hexagon or flower motif is a separate piece that requires precise tension, or the whole structure will sag. It’s why a single lace top can take me 25+ hours of work. When you see the final product, you’re looking at days of focus, not a quick, machine-made knit.
