Monthly Kids Drawing & Coloring Classes
Class Structure
- Frequency: 4 sessions per month (Once a week).
- Duration: 60 to 75 minutes per class.
- Batch Size: Small groups (6-10 kids) for personal attention.
Curriculum
- Approach: Process Art focusing on imagination over rigid blackboard copying.
- Mediums: Oil Pastels, Wax Crayons, and introduction to Watercolours/Poster colours.
- Themes: Nature, festivals, and imaginative storytelling.
Material Policy
- Included: Loose drawing sheets and shared studio textured papers/craft bits.
- Excluded: Students must bring their own basic kit (Sketchbook, Oil Pastels, Pencil set).
Weekend Kids Art Workshops (Mugs/Totes)
Kit & Materials Provided
- Base Item: Choice of one Fabric Tote Bag (approx 12x14 inches) or Ceramic Coffee Mug.
- Supplies: Full access to studio acrylic paints, fabric paints, 3D outliners, and dotting tools.
- Protection: Aprons provided for use during the class.
Session Details
- Duration: Approximately 2 hours.
- Format: Step-by-step instruction on specific techniques like Dot Mandala or Fabric painting.
- Outcome: Child takes home the finished, functional art piece immediately.
Adult Canvas & Dot Mandala Sessions
Materials Provided
- Surface: One pre-primed stretched canvas or canvas board (10x12 or 12x12 inches).
- Paints: Professional-grade heavy body acrylic paints.
- Tools: Use of specialized dotting styluses, palettes, stencils, and synthetic brushes.
Session Scope
- Duration: Extended session (2.5 to 3 hours) to allow for drying and detailing.
- Technique: Guidance on Dot Mandala symmetry or Acrylic layering.
- Level: Suitable for absolute beginners or those seeking stress relief.

My Art Philosophy
I really believe everyone’s got a bit of artist inside them. Whether you’re a kid or an adult, there’s no “correct” way to make art. It’s all about expressing yourself, telling your story, and sometimes just letting your imagination run wild. I try to keep things simple - I set up the space, bring out the materials, and then let you do your thing.
Kids’ Classes
Kids see the world in their own quirky way, and I love that. My classes are more about exploring than following rules. We do everything from drawing giggling crocodiles to painting colourful birds. Sometimes we get messy with crafts, like painting tote bags or dot mandala designs on mugs. I give just enough guidance, then let them fill the page with their ideas. Aprons are always handy - mess toh banta hai (mess is part of the fun).
Adult Sessions
If you think you can’t draw a straight line, you’re in the right place. My studio is a relaxed spot for anyone wanting to try acrylic painting for beginners or just unwind with dot mandala art workshop. I love seeing grown-ups rediscover their creative side, whether it’s painting a serene Buddha or joining a group for a kitty party art session. It’s not about perfection, it’s about enjoying the process.

Hey, I’m Urvi. ArtBox Studio’s been my little world since 2001. I don’t fuss about perfect lines or fancy skills - art’s all about letting yourself loose, no matter your age. Kids teach me wild colours and grown-ups show me joy after years away from the brush. Smita Aunty painted after 30 years, a kid made Ganesha with blueberry ladoos - these moments, bas, that’s what I live for. I just bring the canvas and colours, you bring yourself.
