Modern Corporate Interiors: Designing Functional Workspaces
We create corporate environments that balance architectural form with operational efficiency, building spaces that prioritize both employee well-being and visual clarity.
To solve a contrived entry at the Fineline Infra office, we introduced a curved wall to guide movement and add a 'wow' factor. The reception desk is minimalist, allowing the architectural form to stand out.
The curved wall continues into the conference room, creating a soft, enveloping space. A linear light fixture follows the line of the long table, providing focused illumination.
The curved, dark metal door of the conference room provides a strong contrast to the light wood paneling, creating a dramatic entryway into the meeting space.
This meeting room at the Laxcon office is designed with full-height glass walls overlooking the central atrium, promoting a culture of transparency and connection.
The main circulation corridor at the Laxcon office is defined by clean lines, natural light, and a simple palette of terrazzo, concrete, and wood, creating a calm and efficient pathway.
About Modern Corporate Environments
In corporate projects like the Fineline Infra office, we address layout challenges by introducing curved partitions to guide circulation. This is not purely aesthetic; it softens the transitions found in typical floor plates, effectively separating open work zones from private conference areas while creating a distinct, intuitive flow.
Our studio approaches corporate architecture by rejecting the standard office grid. We find that employees perform better in spaces that acknowledge the need for both privacy and visual connection. For instance, in our Laxcon Steel project, we utilized triple-height volumes and glass partitions to ensure that light penetrates deep into the work areas, while maintaining necessary acoustic separation for focused tasks.
We focus heavily on materiality. Integrating the client's own industrial output—such as steel, specific metal finishes, or structural components—creates a workspace that feels authentic to the business identity rather than generic. Our design process starts with an analysis of how teams move through the space. We look at reception areas, conference rooms, and workstations not as isolated units but as a connected system. Whether renovating an existing office in Delhi or developing a new facility in Ahmedabad, we prioritize the integration of architectural volume with functional office requirements, such as ductable AC integration and layered task lighting. This approach transforms a standard office into a lasting corporate asset.
