My Wedding Journey: Making Your Day Joyful
I recently got married, and that beautiful, chaotic, happy journey changed how I approach wedding choreography forever. Here is a glimpse into the moments that drive me to make your big day just as joyful as mine.
A glimpse of my bridal entry. Having gone through this myself, I know how important these moments are, and I love helping my brides make their entry perfect.
A happy twirl during a wedding season. I love dressing up in ethnic wear and feeling the festive vibe, which is what weddings are all about.
Feeling the wedding season glow. This is the kind of joy and excitement I want every one of my clients to feel.
A fun, candid moment in a bright yellow sharara. Wedding functions are all about color, laughter, and making memories.
The beautiful tradition of alta on a bride's feet. It's these small details that make a wedding so special.
A quiet moment amidst the wedding chaos. I always tell my clients to take a deep breath and soak it all in.
Another candid shot from a wedding function. Being a part of these celebrations, whether as a guest or a choreographer, is my favorite thing.
Lost in the happy thoughts of a wedding celebration. I bring this love for weddings into every choreography I design.
About My Wedding Journey
One thing I learned from planning my own wedding is that you shouldn't be stressed about 'perfect' steps. My choreographies are designed with heavy bridal lehengas and sherwanis in mind, so we focus on grace and expressive moves that actually look good in photos, rather than complex techniques that leave you breathless.
When you are planning a Sangeet, it is easy to get caught up in the pressure of putting on a 'perfect' show. I’ve been on both sides of the stage, and I promise you, the best performances are the ones where you are actually having fun.
My approach is rooted in making things easy for you and your family. If you have cousins who haven't danced in years or a partner who is shy, I focus on steps that are stylish yet simple. I bring my experience as an anchor and dancer to help set the right mahaul (vibe) for your event, ensuring that the transitions are smooth and the energy stays high throughout.
How I work with you:
- Outfit-Friendly Choreography: We design moves specifically so you aren't fighting your lehenga or sherwani while performing. We practice with spatial awareness so you know exactly where to stand on stage.
- Flexibility: Whether you are in Delhi or somewhere else in the NCR, I come to you. We can practice at your home or a studio, fitting into your busy pre-wedding schedule.
- Support for Out-of-Town Guests: If you have family members flying in late, I provide step-by-step breakdown videos. Everyone gets a chance to practice before they arrive, so we can jump straight into the fun during our in-person sessions.
My goal isn't just to teach you a dance routine. It is to help you feel confident enough to enjoy your own wedding celebrations, create beautiful memories, and genuinely soak in every moment of the, 'har pal full magical' experience.
