Just for Fun: My Dance Passion
Dance is my happy place, and I honestly believe it should be fun, not stressful. I mess up steps sometimes, but that is part of the charm. If you want your wedding dance to feel real and joyful, not stiff or perfect, that is exactly my vibe.
A little glimpse of a 'Breathless' piece in the making. Even complex routines start with practice and having fun with the music.
This is my "just let loose and have fun" kind of dance. I promise our practice sessions will have plenty of these stress-free, happy moments.
This was a completely impromptu dance to 'Saiyaara'. Sometimes the best moves come when you just feel the music.
Another impromptu session, just feeling the beautiful song 'Moh Moh Ke Dhaage'. This is my happy place.
More impromptu dancing. This is how I unwind and express myself, and I encourage my clients to find their own comfortable style.
I love this song by Diljit Dosanjh and just had to do an impromptu dance to it. This is the kind of passion I bring to my work.
A little old-school Bollywood impromptu session. These songs have a special place in my heart and are always fun to dance to.
Sometimes inspiration strikes late at night. This was a 3am dance session because I just couldn't get the beat out of my head.
About Just for Fun: My Dance Passion
When I teach, I focus on helping you find a rhythm that feels natural to you rather than forcing complex steps. My practice sessions are designed to be a stress-free zone where we prioritize your comfort and confidence, especially for those who feel nervous about performing in front of a crowd.
For me, dance isn't just about nailing the choreography, it's about the energy you bring to the stage. Whether you are prepping for a Sangeet, a family group performance, or a romantic first dance, the most important element is the mahaul (vibe) we create together.
I have seen too many people freeze up because they are overthinking their footwork. My approach strips away the performance anxiety. I work with you to simplify routines so that even if you have two left feet, you still look graceful and, more importantly, you look like you are having a blast.
My choreography process includes:
- Custom Track Mixing: I handle the audio editing so your songs flow perfectly for your stage entry or main routine.
- Flexible Rehearsals: I offer in-person sessions at your convenience, focusing on efficiency so different family groups can train during the same visit.
- Beginner-Friendly Coaching: I specialize in encouraging the hesitant uncles, aunts, or cousins who might otherwise sit out. My routines are designed to be fun to learn, not a chore.
- Performance Readiness: We practice with the mindset that you might be wearing heavy bridal lehengas or sherwanis, ensuring the moves are expressive and manageable.
From Delhi to Gurugram, I travel to your location to make sure the practice is easy for you. If you are looking for a choreographer who values your comfort and genuine joy over rigid technical perfection, let’s chat and get you stage-ready.
