About Individual Stall Boarding
It is not just about a 10x12 stall; it is about the environment your horse lives in every day. We ensure every horse has a dedicated, private space with natural ventilation and a ceiling fan to keep them comfortable. Our team handles the small, vital details like twice-daily mucking, daily grooming including hoof picking, and a tailored meal plan consisting of three daily feeds to ensure your horse stays in top physical condition.
Our Approach to Horse Boarding
At Uma Equestrian Academy, we treat boarding as a pillar of good horsemanship. If a horse is not resting well or lacks the right nutrition, it cannot learn or excel. Our facility at the Uma Public School campus in Greater Noida is designed to prioritize the animal's mental and physical health.
Infrastructure and Comfort
Every horse receives an individual stall, either 10x12 or 12x12 feet. We use soft wood shavings or sawdust for bedding, which is kept clean and dry to prevent respiratory issues. Each stall features a nameplate—a small acknowledgement that every horse is an individual with its own character. The stables are built with arched corridors for natural cross-ventilation, keeping the air fresh even during the warmer months.
Daily Care and Routine
Consistency is key to our routine:
- Nutrition: We provide a mix of Bhusa (dry fodder), seasonal green fodder, and crushed grains (oats or barley) based on the horse's specific workload.
- Hygiene: Grooming is a daily necessity. Our staff performs full-body brushing, curry combing, and hoof picking to maintain skin health and catch any minor injuries early.
- Turnout: We provide regular turnout in our paddocks. If you are not available to ride, we ensure your horse gets the movement it needs through lungeing or pasture time.
Training and Access
Boarding with us provides you with full access to our professional grass and sand arenas. Whether you are practicing dressage or show jumping, you have the space to train. If you need extra support, our professional schooling packages include 4 to 5 sessions per week with our instructors to maintain your horse’s fitness and address any behavioral needs.
