About this collection
I don't believe in heavy, cakey makeup for pre-wedding functions. My process starts with deep hydration and targeted skin prep, so your base feels lightweight and looks real—whether you are under bright stage lights at your engagement or out in the sun for your Mehendi. It is all about giving you that effortless glow that lasts until the very last dance.
Engagement and pre-wedding functions allow us to experiment. While your wedding day look might be traditional, your engagement or cocktail night is the perfect time to try something modern like soft glam, bold glitter eyes, or a half-cut crease.
My Approach to Pre-Wedding Glam
I treat every function differently based on the lighting and the vibe:
- Mehendi & Haldi: These are daytime, sun-lit events. I focus on fresh, dewy skin, minimal base, and vibrant pops of color that look great in candid photos. I love using floral accessories to pull the look together.
- Engagement & Cocktail: These nights often involve flash photography and stage lights. For these, I use my HD makeup kit, including products from NARS, Huda Beauty, and Estée Lauder. This ensures your skin looks smooth on camera without needing heavy layers. I add techniques like contouring and 3D lashes to give you that extra definition.
The Importance of Skin Prep
No matter the event, my first step is always the same: skin prep. I use pore-filling primers and hydration sprays because I know how annoying it is to have foundation settle into fine lines or dry patches. My goal is to make sure that by the time I apply your lipstick, you are already feeling confident.
