Master simple, elegant, and quick makeup styles for daily wear or festive occasions. Learn how to look polished with budget-friendly products that actually work.

Here’s Day 1 of my 10-day self-makeup challenge. I show you how to create a very easy and basic look using just a BB cream, lipstick as blush, and a simple liner. Perfect for students and office-goers.

This is the perfect "no-makeup" makeup look. It’s all about looking fresh and polished without looking heavily made up. You can learn these simple tricks in my online self-makeup batch.

My go-to sweat-proof makeup for a Garba night. This tutorial breaks down how to make your makeup last through hours of dancing, using techniques like icing and powder locking with a damp beauty blender.

Getting into the Navratri spirit with this colorful look. I demonstrate how to apply concealer and build a base for a festive look that complements traditional attire like this chaniya choli.

Another beautiful look for Navratri. This transformation shows how to create a soft, glowing look with a pretty matha patti that’s perfect for dandiya nights.

Celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi with this traditional look. I show how to get ready for the puja with a simple yet elegant makeup style that honors the festive occasion.

My quick and easy GRWM for Rakhi. This look features a pop of color on the eyes and is perfect for anyone who wants to look put-together for family celebrations without spending hours on makeup.

I had so much fun creating this Maharashtrian-inspired look. The focus is on the classic 'nath' and a dewy makeup base, showing how to embrace and style traditional elements beautifully.

About Festive & Everyday Looks

If your base feels heavy or shifts by the end of the day, stop layering more product. The secret to a long-lasting festive look, especially for events like Navratri or weddings, is actually how you set it. I teach my students the powder lock technique using a damp beauty blender, which keeps your makeup fresh for hours without making it look cakey. It is the same trick I use to survive long events in the Gurgaon humidity.

Makeup shouldn't be a struggle, yaar. Whether you are getting ready for an office presentation or a big festive function, my focus is on keeping things easy. I don't believe in hoarding expensive luxury products when you can get the same results with smarter techniques.

In my online and offline sessions, we work with what you have, or I suggest affordable drugstore gems from brands like Swiss Beauty and Maybelline that actually perform. We start with the basics: proper skin prep, understanding your skin type, and finding your actual foundation shade to prevent oxidation.

Many of my students come in with specific concerns like oily skin, open pores, or hooded eyes. We tackle these head-on by learning eyebrow mapping and specific eyeliner hacks that fit your unique face shape. For the festive season, I demonstrate how to build sweat-proof bases that withstand heat and movement, so you can focus on the celebration rather than touching up your concealer.

If you are in Gurgaon, join me at the academy for hands-on correction, or jump into my online batches if you are elsewhere. You get recorded sessions to practice at your own pace. Let’s make makeup easy, together.

I'm Sonia, a certified makeup artist from Gurgaon. I started teaching because I hated seeing people struggle with basic things like wing liners and choosing the right foundation shade. My classes are all about keeping it real, using what you already have, and making you confident enough to do your own glam for any occasion.
