There is something grounding about turning a lump of wet clay into a vessel with your own hands. Join our pottery sessions to slow down, get a little messy, and create something uniquely yours.

There is a simple, grounding magic in shaping clay with your own hands. Our beginner-friendly pottery workshops guide you through the process of wheel throwing, helping you center the clay and your mind to create a unique piece of ceramic art to take home.

Welcome to our pottery studio, a creative space filled with inspiration. This video takes you through a workshop, from guests learning hand-building techniques to the joy of shaping clay on the potter's wheel for the first time.

About this collection

Getting your hands messy is the best part, but it is the quiet focus of the potter's wheel that really grounds you. In our sessions, you will learn the rhythm of centering clay, a skill that feels difficult at first but becomes meditative once you find your flow. Just keep in mind that while you will shape your piece in class, the final firing and glazing process takes a few weeks if you choose to have your piece professionally finished.

Pottery isn't just about making a mug or a bowl; it is about the rare chance to disconnect from screens and reconnect with something tactile. We host these sessions because they offer a much-needed pause in our fast-paced urban lives. You don't need a background in art or sculpture to join us. Our hosts guide you through the basics of wheel throwing and hand-building, ensuring that even if you have never touched clay before, you leave with a piece you are proud of.

Many participants ask about the process after the workshop ends. Since clay needs to be fired in a kiln to become durable, we offer an optional firing and glazing service. This step turns your raw, soft creation into a functional, watertight piece of ceramic art. It takes a little patience—usually two to three weeks—but having a bowl or vase on your shelf that you made with your own hands is worth the wait.

Our studios provide everything you need: the clay, the electric wheels, and the aprons to keep your clothes clean. Whether you are coming alone, with a partner, or as a group of friends, the atmosphere is designed to be social and relaxed. We believe that when you work with earth and water, the conversation flows easier, and the Saturday afternoon feels much longer than it actually is. Come by, pick up some clay, and see what you can shape.
