This is the first look at my work. It’s a selection that captures the heart of my design philosophy: creating spaces that are sustainable, beautiful, and deeply connected to their environment and the people who use them.
Sustainable Community Planning: The Ekadanta Project
This cluster showcases my master plan for Ekadanta, a 41-acre sustainable farming community. My design focuses on creating a self-sufficient ecosystem with complete water independence through rainwater harvesting and natural filtration, alongside community hubs that foster connection while respecting privacy.
Educational & Institutional Spaces
I believe learning environments should be inspiring, flexible, and integrated with nature. This collection highlights my designs for schools like Urban Gurukul and other institutions, where courtyards become classrooms, sensory gardens spark curiosity, and every space is designed to support holistic development.
Vernacular & Earth Architecture in Practice
Using local materials and traditional building techniques is not just about aesthetics; it's a smart, sustainable choice. This cluster features completed projects that demonstrate key design principles like harmony, symmetry, and pattern, all achieved using earth blocks, local stone, and climate-responsive design.
Conceptual Design Process
Every project begins with an idea. This collection offers a behind-the-scenes look at my design process, from initial hand-drawn sketches exploring different forms to detailed digital models. It shows how I develop concepts for farmhouses and other structures, always aiming for creative and functional solutions tailored to the client's vision.
Commercial & Recreational Spaces
My design philosophy extends to commercial and recreational projects, where functionality and user experience are paramount. This project demonstrates how I create high-performance spaces that are also thoughtfully designed, whether for sport, leisure, or business.
Media Features & Academic Engagement
Sharing knowledge is a vital part of my practice. This cluster includes my interviews on radio and with design publications, as well as my engagement with the next generation of architects. It reflects my commitment to advocating for sustainable design within the wider community.
