I am pretty obsessed with getting the sound just right. If you hear me saying 'thoda pitchy hua, phir se lete hain na' in the studio, that is just me chasing perfection. Whether we are tracking harmonies for a pop track or dubbing for a film, the goal is always to keep the vibe relaxed while ensuring we get that pro-level audio.
My work life is a mix of high-energy studio sessions and creative experimentation. Being a playback singer means I get to slip into different characters, which is exactly what I did for the Netflix series 'Yeh Kaali Kaali Ankhein' and the Zouk campaign with Kriti Sanon. It is not just about hitting the right notes, but about carrying the emotion of the script or the visual narrative into the vocal performance.
What I Bring to the Mic
- Playback & OTT: I handle everything from character-driven vocal performances to full dynamic range recordings for feature films and web series. I focus on script context and emotion so the voice fits the frame.
- Ad Jingles & Commercials: Need a voice that modulates from peppy to warm? I have done this for major brands, ensuring the vocals sync perfectly with the video edit.
- Indie & Hindi R&B: This is where I started. Whether it is backing vocals, harmonies, or my own originals like 'Tasveer' and 'Aasmaan', I love blending Western R&B textures with Indian sensibilities.
The Process
I operate out of Mumbai but am fully equipped for remote recording. If you have a track that needs that extra layer of texture or a solid lead vocal, I can turn it around in 48 to 72 hours. We can handle it over Zoom or you can join me in the studio. I am big on collaboration, so expect a fair bit of back-and-forth until we find the exact sound you are looking for. No corporate fluff, just good music.
