About Acoustic & Intimate Gigs
For these intimate gigs, I usually perform with a guitarist or a keyboardist to keep the sound balanced but personal. The most important thing for you to know is that while I bring my instruments and soul, I do require the venue to provide a basic PA system—speakers, mics, and stands—so we can ensure the sound is crisp for your guests. Once that’s sorted, I’m ready to craft the perfect setlist for your vibe.
There is something about an acoustic set that just hits different. Without the heavy production of a full band, it’s just the music, the story, and the connection. My acoustic and intimate gig packages are designed for moments that need a personal touch, whether that’s a chilled-out Sunday brunch, a quiet restaurant performance, or a sangeet evening where you want the music to feel like a conversation.
How I Setup
Depending on the space and the mood, we can scale things up or down:
- Solo: Just me and my ukulele or guitar. This is the most raw and intimate option, perfect for small gatherings or settings where you want the music to be a backdrop for great conversation.
- Duo/Trio: This is my go-to for slightly larger events. Bringing in an acoustic guitarist or a keyboardist allows us to layer the sound, making those Hindi R&B tracks and Bollywood covers pop while keeping the volume comfortable for an indoor or semi-outdoor space.
What to Expect
My setlist for these gigs isn't fixed. I love reading the room. I’ll mix in my own indie-pop originals, some soulful Bollywood numbers, and maybe even some Punjabi bangers if the crowd wants to loosen up.
I’ve performed everywhere from college stages at Sophia College to vibrant indie venues in Mumbai, and the goal remains the same: to make everyone feel like they’re part of the show. I don’t just play songs; I talk about them, share a bit of the process, and try to keep it as honest as possible.
