About My Festive & Wedding Wardrobe
I often take one statement lehenga or sharara and completely change its look by swapping the dupatta, jewelry, and hair accessories. This approach saves closet space and ensures your outfit feels entirely new each time you wear it to a different event.
Festive styling is all about finding the balance between tradition and your own personality. You do not need a new outfit for every single function. My approach centers on maximizing what you already own.
Why Repurposing Works
- Cost Efficiency: Instead of buying five new sets, invest in high-quality staples and change the styling.
- Sustainability: Giving your Roka lehenga or old Anarkali a second life is kinder to the environment and your wallet.
- Personalization: When you reuse an outfit, you have the freedom to style it differently. Pair a heavy blouse with a simple saree, or switch out your heavy jewelry for statement modern pieces.
My Go-To Festive Picks
Whether it is a Sabyasachi piece for a palace wedding or a playful sharara set for Ganpati, I look for versatility. Modern sarees are my favorite for this. They are easier to manage, look chic, and photograph beautifully.
If you have a wedding or festive event coming up, we can look at your existing closet together. We will identify pieces that need a refresh and figure out the exact jewelry and accessories to change the vibe. You will feel comfortable, confident, and like yourself, not like you are wearing a costume.
