About First Birthday & Cake Smash
You do not need to stress about the setup or wardrobe. I have a full range of costumes and props in my studio, so you just need to bring the cake and your little one. I keep my sessions flexible for up to three hours because I know babies need their own pace, whether they are shy, tired, or ready to make a total mess.
What happens during a cake smash?
The cake smash is the highlight of the first birthday. It is not just about the photos; it is about letting your baby explore, make a mess, and enjoy their first taste of cake in a safe, studio-controlled environment. I recommend booking these sessions around your baby's nap time so they are fresh and happy.
My process for your little one
Most sessions last between two to three hours. We start with formal portraits and family shots, then move to two distinct themes, and finish with the messy cake smash. Since I have a dedicated studio in Pitampura, you get full access to my wardrobe of costumes, tiny beds, wooden logs, and floral setups.
Can family join?
Absolutely. The first birthday is a family milestone. Parents and siblings are always encouraged to jump in for some of the photos. These candid, goofy family interactions often end up being the ones parents treasure the most.
Practical details
I provide all the props, backdrops, and outfits, but I ask that you bring the cake itself to ensure it matches any dietary needs your baby might have. My studio is based in Pitampura, but I frequently travel across Delhi NCR to document these milestones for families.
