Behind the Scenes at My Crochet Art Markets
Get a peek into my life as a crochet artist. These photos are from various art markets where I've had a stall, sharing my latest amigurumi, wearable art, and doodles with the community.
This is me, Lex, at an art market, overjoyed with the support from everyone. I'm wearing a crochet octopus on my hat, because why not?

About Meet Me at the Market!
When I set up my stall, I bring more than just my crochet work. I bring my entire desk setup, doodles, and prints, because the market is where I truly connect with the community. It is my favorite way to see which tiny plushie finds a new home, so if you spot me at an event, come by to say hi or see how these little guys look in person.
The Energy of My Market Stalls
Setting up a market stall is a huge part of how I work. It is not just about selling; it is about meeting you all. I love the energy of art markets like OPN Art House or my pop-ups across Mumbai and Bangalore. It gives me a chance to show my work in person and see which of my tiny, weird creations speaks to you the most.
What You Will Find at My Table
If you visit me at a market, you will usually find the full range of Tinieknits:
- Desk Buddies: Everything from capybaras to potted plants that never need watering.
- Wearable Art: My signature crochet cat paw gloves and pride pins.
- Original Prints: I also display and sell my own illustrated art prints, zines, and stickers.
A Community-Focused Space
My stalls are meant to be welcoming and inclusive. As a queer-owned business, it is incredibly important to me that my space feels safe and fun for everyone. Whether you stop by to buy a plushie or just want to chat about art and queer creativity, you are always welcome at my table. I keep my crochet process slow and sustainable, so these events are the best way to see the finished, hand-stitched product up close before you decide on your new tiny friend.
