About Desk Buddies & Plushies
All my desk buddies and plushies listed here are ready to ship, so there is zero waiting time for your new workspace friend. Since every piece is crocheted by me, including the little embroidered faces, each one has its own tiny personality; the one you see in the photo is the exact one that will arrive at your home.
I’ve always loved making things that feel a bit weird and wonderful, from manta rays to capybaras balancing tiny oranges. When I’m not sketching, I’m working with soft cotton or acrylic yarn and hypoallergenic poly-fil to bring these designs to life. For my desk buddies like the potted plants, I use internal weights so they do not tip over on your monitor stand or shelf. If you are checking out the more complex characters, I include wire armatures so you can pose them exactly how you want—whether that is peeking out from your pocket or sitting on your keyboard.
My process is intentionally slow. I am not mass-producing these; it is just me, a hook, and a lot of chai creating things I would want on my own desk. Because I am a small, queer-owned business operating between Mumbai and Goa, I ship these little guys to fellow art lovers across India. Keep in mind that since I am human, there might be a tiny, quirky imperfection here or there, but that is just part of the charm of genuine handmade art. If you see a plushie you love, grab it—stock changes fast, and once a specific buddy is adopted, it might be a while before I make another one exactly like it.
