Light & Homestyle Snacks for Your Evening Cravings
When you want something tasty but not heavy, my homemade snacks hit the spot. Freshly prepared, affordable, and just what you need to recharge in the evening.
Nothing says comfort like a plate of hot, homemade Upma paired with a cup of chai. This light and savory dish is a perfect, wholesome snack for any time of the day.
About Light & Homestyle Snacks
I make my Upma and Poha with a proper South-Indian style tadka using mustard seeds, fresh curry leaves, and peanuts. It is light on the stomach and served warm, so you get that fresh-cooked texture instead of something that has been sitting around for hours.
When hunger strikes in the evening, you don't always want a heavy meal. You want something that tastes like it came from your own kitchen—quick, fresh, and uncomplicated. That is why I focus on staples like Upma and Poha, prepared exactly the way they should be.
My Upma uses roasted semolina to keep it light and fluffy, tossed with finely diced carrots and peas when in season. For the Poha, it is flattened rice with just the right amount of turmeric and salt. The secret is in the tempering. I use fresh curry leaves, mustard seeds, and crunchy peanuts for that authentic taste you cannot get from packet mixes.
Everything is vegetarian and prepared in my FSSAI-registered kitchen. Since I deliver within Rohini, Pitampura, and Kohat, your food arrives warm. Whether you are looking for a quick fix after work or a simple evening snack for the family, these options are designed to be pocket-friendly and healthy. If you are feeling a bit more indulgent, we have Gajar ka Halwa or Gulab Jamun to finish things off on a sweet note. Just let me know what you are craving and I will get it sorted.
