People often ask if I just play loud. It is actually about dynamic control and matching the flow of a game. Whether it is a high-stakes cricket watch party or a sports-themed corporate gig, I adjust my hybrid rig of rototoms, cymbals, and dhol to make sure the beat lands exactly when the energy spikes, not just constant noise.
My journey as the official percussionist for the Delhi Capitals is not just about showing up with a drum. It is about reading the stadium.
