Maker School: Hands-on Crafting Sessions for Kids and Teens
Ditch the screens and let your kids build, design, and create. We run project-based makerspace sessions in Horamavu, Bengaluru, where kids aged 7-16 learn to use real tools to make real things.
Announcing our Maker School Summer Programs. We offer project-based, hands-on making for ages 7-16, with programs in woodworking, cement casting, digital fabrication, and more.
Our Maker School sessions are starting soon. This video shows young makers (ages 7+) getting hands-on with tools like the drill press, learning real skills in a safe environment.
A look at our multi-material Maker Program, where kids learn by working with wood, cement, metal, and digital fabrication tools to create custom projects like this desk organizer.
Here are the details for our Maker Program. This chart breaks down the different project options, age groups, duration, and costs for our weekly sessions.
Our program goals are simple: build confidence and creativity, encourage problem-solving, teach real-world skills, and provide students with finished projects they can be proud of.

About Maker School: For Young Creators
We don't do boring theory or classroom lectures here. In our sessions, your child gets behind the tools—drill presses, laser cutters, and hand saws—to build functional projects like custom desk organizers or interlocking models. It is about learning the mechanics of creation, where making a mistake is just part of the process, not a failure.
We believe making is the missing pillar of development. At our Maker School, we move beyond digital consumption to show kids and teens aged 7-16 how things are actually built. Whether it is cement casting, woodworking, or digital fabrication, the goal is to build confidence through tactile experience.
What We Teach
We keep our groups small, so every child gets direct, hands-on guidance. We cover:
- Woodworking: Learning tool safety, basic joinery, and patience.
- Digital Fabrication: Designing in 2D and using our CO2 laser cutters to build models.
- Metalwork: Basic techniques tailored for our teen makers aged 14 and up.
- Practical Craft: Working with raw materials like concrete, bamboo, and wood to create something functional to take home.
The Maker Philosophy
All materials are provided, and safety is our top priority. We want students to walk away with more than just a finished piece—they leave with the realization that they can solve problems on their own. If your child is curious and wants to trade their tablet for a rasp, a chisel, or a laser cutter, this is the place to be. We are based in Horamavu and host sessions throughout the year, including dedicated summer programs.
