About Behind The Scenes
People often ask if food photography is just clicking a button, but it is actually about controlling every variable. Whether I am using a hybrid lighting setup to capture a coffee splash or tethering my camera to a laptop for real-time focus checks, my goal is to get the texture and light right before I even touch the edit.
Photography is not just about the final frame, it is about the hours of effort that lead up to it. When I am on set in a cafe or at my home studio, I am usually managing a hybrid lighting setup that combines softboxes with natural light to ensure the food looks appetising, not flat.
One of the most critical parts of my process that you do not see in the final image is tethered shooting. I connect my camera directly to a laptop so I can check focus and composition at a pixel level in real-time. This ensures that when I am shooting something intricate—like the foam on a latte or the texture of a croissant—I am catching those details perfectly before I move to post-production.
My editing process is just as intentional. I do not just slap on a filter; I perform color correction and exposure balancing to match the mood of your brand. Whether you need a quick reel of a recipe or high-resolution images for a commercial campaign, I bring the same hustle and attention to detail to every project. It is messy, it involves a lot of coffee, and it is exactly how I create the visuals that help your food stand out.

For me, photography is therapy, but it is also serious work. I love the hustle—from the initial idea and recipe testing to the final edit—and I treat every shoot like a new story waiting to be told.
