This is my story. Our founder, Ankur Jain, shares his journey from the IT world to creating Therpup, driven by a passion for dogs and a mission to build a community and help rescue animals.

We are here to talk you through the process, answer your questions about health and temperament, and help you find the right match for your home, not just the cutest face in the kennel.
More Than Just a Rescue
When we started Therpup, our priority wasn't the cafe—it was the dogs. We built this space with the belief that every dog, especially the ones some call 'awara' (stray), deserves a home. Our team works tirelessly in our Whitefield and Sarjapur locations to ensure that when a dog is adopted through our drives, they are going to a place where they will be treated like family, not property.
The Reality of Adoption
We have seen too many dogs returned because owners didn't realize what they were signing up for. That is why we are transparent about the challenges.
- Commitment: This is a 10-15 year bond. We want to know your plans for the next decade.
- Time & Patience: Puppies will chew, they will have accidents, and they will need training. Are you ready for that?
