Meet the Rescue Pack at Therpup
Our pack is the heart and soul of Therpup. From rescued indies to our playful golden retrievers, every dog here has a personality as big as their bark.
Meet Oreo, the grandma of the Therpup family. We adopted her from a shelter where she was the only puppy. She basically chose us! Now at 7.5 years old, she's healthy, strong, and loves getting pets, especially from kids.
This is Tripod, our queen of attention-seeking. We rescued her as a puppy after she broke her leg. She's incredibly vocal, loves to play-fight with her best friend Jenny, and will give you the saddest puppy eyes until you give her butt scratches.
This sweet girl is Kara. She found her way to our cafe after being abandoned. She instantly became friends with all our other pets and is one of the calmest dogs you'll ever meet. Her favorite activities are sleeping, eating, and sunbathing.
Presenting the anatomy of an English Retriever, starring our handsome boys Simba and Uno. They are masters of using their puppy eyes to get what they want and are expert providers of sloppy kisses. They are a huge part of our adopted family.
If our dog Simba had a movie trailer, this would be it. Don't let his innocent puppy eyes fool you. He's a professional treat negotiator, a master of the playful tug-of-war, and has a smile that can melt any heart.
About Meet Our Rescue Pack
When you visit our Sarjapur or Whitefield locations, remember that you are stepping into their living room. Our rescue pack loves to socialize, but they are also experts at setting their own boundaries. If you see them napping in the sun or enjoying a quiet moment, please let them rest. Also, as tempting as those puppy eyes are, please avoid feeding them your own food—they are on strict diets, and our team is happy to help you with safe, approved treats if you want to spoil them.
At Therpup, we believe the best things in life are adopted. Our 'Rescue Pack' isn't just a part of our brand; they are the reason we exist. From Oreo, the grandma of the house who basically adopted us at the shelter, to Tripod, our spirited girl who turned a tough start into a life of non-stop energy, every dog here has a story worth hearing.
Why Our Pack is Different
We don't call them 'awara' (stray). To us, they are family. We’ve created a space where they can run, swim, and lead the 'Azadi' life they deserve. When you hang out here, you aren't just visiting a cafe; you are supporting a mission to show the world that indie dogs have just as much love and intelligence as any purebred.
How to Interact With the Pack
- Let them come to you: Our dogs are friendly, but they appreciate when you respect their personal space.
- Check their vibe: If they are playing or busy with their handlers, it's best to observe from a distance.
- Ask our staff: Want to know if Kara is in the mood for belly rubs or if Simba is up for a game of fetch? Ask one of our team members. They know the pack better than anyone and can tell you who is ready for interaction.
Whether you’re looking to adopt, want to know more about the realities of indie dog rescue, or just need a serotonin boost from a wagging tail, our pack is ready to welcome you. Grab a coffee, settle into a seat, and prepare for some serious dog therapy.
