Professional Table Tennis Technical Drills
Master your game through disciplined, repetitive practice. We use structured multiball, serve, and doubles drills to build your skills, whether you are a beginner or training for competitive play.
Multiball training is one of the most effective ways to accelerate learning. By feeding a high volume of balls, we can isolate and correct specific parts of a player's forehand and backhand technique.
This doubles drill focuses on movement and communication. Players learn to anticipate their partner's position and work together to cover the table effectively.
Practicing different types of serves is crucial for gaining an advantage. Here, a player works on generating spin and varying placement to keep opponents off balance.
About Technical Drills
Multiball isn't just about hitting more balls; it's about correcting your swing mechanics under fatigue. When we feed balls in rapid succession, you don't have time to overthink your form—you rely on muscle memory. That’s why we emphasize 'pair barabar rakh' (keep your feet steady) during these sessions, because your game starts from the floor, not the paddle.
Why Drills Matter
You can play games every day, but without specific drills, your game stays flat. At The Reflex Arc, we break the game down to build it back up.
Multiball Mastery
This is the engine of our coaching. By feeding a high volume of balls, I strip away the 'waiting' time found in a normal rally. You get hundreds of repetitions in a single session, allowing us to isolate and correct specific flaws—whether it's an open racket face on your forehand or a lack of hip rotation in your backhand. You will be tired, but that's the point. We want to see how you hold your form when your legs get heavy.
Doubles Coordination
Doubles is a game of geometry and communication. We run specific drills to practice rotation, anticipating your partner's movement, and covering the angles. It’s less about individual skill and more about rhythm. If you and your partner are tripping over each other, you aren't practicing the right lines.
Service Precision
The serve is the only part of table tennis you fully control. We dedicate specific time to practicing the toss, contact point, and spin variation. We don't just practice serves; we practice serves with follow-up shots. A serve without a plan is just giving the ball away.
Train With Us
Whether you are at a local school in Panvel, a corporate office, or training for a district tournament, we bring this structure to you. We handle the technical feedback and the drills; you just need to bring the focus.
