The Art of Intention in Custom Gift Packaging
I believe the magic of a gift starts long before it reaches the recipient. Peek into my studio to see how thoughtful details, layered textures, and careful hands transform simple boxes into meaningful stories.
A throwback to some of my favorite curated moments. This collage shows the layered textures and thoughtful details that define my work, from wax-sealed envelopes to rustic jute-wrapped favors.
The process begins with beautiful materials. Here, delicate printed tissue paper is ready to be used for a Roka order, ensuring that even the unseen layers of the gift are crafted with care and elegance.

The starting point for a luxury groom's gift. The clean, elegant box from Favre Leuba sets the tone for the sophisticated and thoughtful packaging that will be built around it.

About Behind the Scenes: The Art of Intention
People often ask why I focus on the inner layers, like the way tissue is folded or how a scent is infused. It is because the experience of opening a gift is just as important as the gift itself. I do not just pack items; I create a tactile narrative using fabric drapes, personalized monograms, and custom inserts that ensure your groom’s watch or bridal trousseau feels honored the moment the box is opened.
When you look at these images, you are seeing my process—not just the finished product. In my Kandivali studio, I treat every project as a piece of art rather than a standard assembly line job. Whether it is a Roka trousseau or a complex groom’s gift, the work begins with materiality. I select rigid MDF bases for structural integrity, then layer them with raw silk, organza, or leatherette to match your wedding color palette.
What you do not see in a single photo is the intention behind the layers. I include butter paper inserts to protect delicate fabrics, infuse subtle essential oils to create a sensory memory, and ensure every monogram is laser-cut for precision. My goal is to bridge the gap between traditional Indian gifting and contemporary design. I handle the logistics, too, ensuring that even if your event is outstation, the arrangement survives the transit perfectly.
If you are planning an event, bring your vision to me. Whether you have a specific theme in mind or just a vague idea of the feeling you want to create, we can work through the layout, floral accents, and packaging styles until it feels right. No rushing, no cookie-cutter solutions—just thoughtful, hands-on curation.
