About Ombre & Gradient Nails
The secret to a good ombre is the fade. We use a sponge or brush technique to blend the colors so you don't see a harsh line between the base and the tip. For our baby boomer sets, we spend extra time ensuring that pink-to-white transition looks natural, not patchy.
Whether you want something subtle or loud, the ombre technique works. The classic baby boomer is our most requested look—it’s clean, professional, and hides grow-out lines better than a solid color. If you want something more fun, we do color-to-color fades like pink-to-purple or red-to-maroon. For those who want more, adding a glitter layer over the gradient gives it extra depth.
Ombre is a technique, not just a color. It works on almond, coffin, or square shapes. Because we build these using gel or acrylic overlay, they are durable. You can expect 3 to 4 weeks of wear before you need an infill to cover the regrowth. If you’re unsure which colors will blend well, just ask when you come in. We have a wide range of gel polishes to mix and match.
