I prioritize a 'glass skin' finish for evening parties like Sangeets and Engagements, using lightweight, long-wear products from brands like Rare Beauty and Huda Beauty that hold up against dancing and heat. My goal is to let your natural texture shine through while ensuring your base stays flawless for those HD photos, rather than applying layers that feel heavy.
When you are prepping for a Roka, Mehendi, or Sangeet, the makeup requirements are different from a wedding day look. You want something fun, vibrant, and, most importantly, something that lasts for hours while you are dancing.
My Approach to Party Glamour
I focus on a 'skin-first' philosophy. Even for evening events where you might want more drama, I start with careful skin prep. Using hydrating serums and primers, I ensure the foundation looks like skin, not a mask.
- For Engagements & Receptions: I lean towards a 'soft glam' aesthetic. Think dewy skin, shimmery lids, and a polished, long-wear base. We can incorporate Hollywood waves or sleek updos to complete the look, ensuring you feel glamorous but still like yourself.
- For Mehendi & Day Events: I keep it lighter and fresher. I love using cream blushes and soft matte eye palettes to complement colorful outfits without being overdone. The focus here is on comfort and natural radiance.
