A still photo of the finished Cat Eye nails. The magnetic polish creates a beautiful silver streak that moves across the dark base, resembling a cat's eye.
Another video of the stunning Cat Eye nail effect. You can really see the dimension and the way the light plays on the magnetic particles in the polish.
An elegant and modern design using gold chrome. I created a "frame" effect with the chrome around the edge of the nail and added a delicate 3D white flower as an accent.
A close-up of the gold chrome frame and 3D flower nail art. This design is done on soft gel extensions, which provide the perfect canvas for such detailed work.
This angle shows the beautiful shine of the gold chrome and the delicate texture of the sculpted flower. It's a very sophisticated and unique look.

I love how the gold chrome outlines the nail shape, creating a very chic and artistic effect. The small flower adds a soft, feminine touch.
This video shows the process of creating marble art on natural nails. My client and I chose the colors together, and I used a special technique to create this beautiful, flowing marble effect with a hint of glitter.
For my 15th nail art challenge, I created this vibrant marble art. In the video, you can see how I used blooming gel and multiple colors to create this beautiful, fiery orange and yellow marble effect.
This was a unique challenge where I created a design using both Cat Eye and Chrome effects. The result is a mysterious and beautiful art piece with a metallic, shifting center.
About Special Effects: Chrome, Cat Eye & Marble
Getting these looks right is all about the prep. Whether we are using a magnet to pull that Cat Eye streak or buffing chrome onto a perfectly cured base, I make sure the structure is solid so your art stays fresh. If you have seen a specific marble or chrome design on Pinterest, bring the photo to the studio—we can recreate it, or tweak the colors to match your vibe.
Special effects in nail art are where I get to play. When you want more than a solid color, these techniques provide texture and depth that regular polish just cannot match.
Why these techniques work
- Cat Eye: This isn't just a color; it’s a magnetic effect. I use a powerful magnet over the wet polish to shift the metallic particles, creating that signature light streak that changes with the angle of your hand. It’s perfect for when you want something mysterious.
- Chrome Finishes: If you want that high-shine, mirror effect, chrome is the way to go. I apply it over a specific no-wipe top coat and buff it in. It creates a sleek, futuristic look that works great on short or long extensions.
- Marble Art: This is pure creativity. Whether we use blooming gel or manual blending, I love creating unique, flowing patterns. No two marble sets look exactly the same, which makes them feel like a piece of art just for you.
My Process in Worli
I never compromise on the prep. Whether you come to my Worli studio for a simple gel set or a complex special effects design, I always start with a proper dry manicure using my e-file to clean cuticles and shape the free edge. I use a dehydrator and primer to ensure your art doesn't lift, so you get weeks of wear out of your custom design. Even if you have short or bitten nails, these effects can make your fingers look elongated and elegant. Just bring your ideas, and we will make them happen.
