Studio flashes are bright and can be unforgiving on skin texture. To handle this, I use a balanced, waterproof HD base that mimics natural skin, ensuring you do not look 'washed out' in your professional photos. My goal is to make sure your makeup looks just as fresh on the camera lens as it does in person, without that heavy, caked-on feel.
Makeup that looks great in the mirror might fail under professional lighting. When I prep a bride, I consider the specific venue lighting, whether it is dim banquet hall lights or bright outdoor day events. I use HD and Airbrush techniques specifically designed for high-resolution photography. These bases are lightweight but buildable, meaning they hide imperfections without looking heavy when the flash goes off.
I also prioritize waterproof formulas, especially for 'teary-eyed' moments or heavy dance floor sessions.
