About Sacred Pooja Spaces
A beautiful mandir is about more than just the final paint. You need to think about where the wiring for the backlight goes, how the CNC carving feels to the touch, and whether the material you choose is easy to wipe clean. I build these from scratch, so we can hide those messy wires and get the exact depth of carving you want, whether it is for a small wall-mounted unit or a large floor-standing temple.
When I design a pooja unit, I look at the space you have available first. If you are living in a compact 2BHK in Delhi NCR, we don't want a massive temple that crowds your living room. Instead, I focus on smart, space-saving designs like wall-mounted units with backlit acrylic panels.
For larger homes where we have more room to play, I often suggest using premium materials like Duco paint or PU-finished MDF to give it a rich, timeless look.
The Process
- Consultation: We decide the size and placement. Is it a dedicated room or a corner of the living area?
- Design: I create the CNC pattern. Whether you want a traditional 'Om' motif, intricate floral work, or a minimalist geometric pattern, we finalize the look before any cutting happens.
- Execution: We build the structure in our workshop using high-quality ply. I personally oversee the installation of the lighting so that the glow from behind the carving is soft and warm, not harsh.
