This soft glam style is built for the camera, so you get that fresh, dewy look that holds up from the first frame to the last without looking oily or cakey.
Why Soft Glam Works for the Lens
Photography demands a different approach than everyday wear. In my studio work, I prioritize cream products over heavy powders because they reflect light, giving you that 'lit-from-within' radiance. Whether we are aiming for an editorial look or a clean commercial vibe, the goal is to make skin look like skin, just better.
My Approach to Studio Makeup
- The Base: I focus on strobing and hydration. Using products from Dior and NARS, I ensure the skin remains hydrated under harsh studio lights, preventing that flat, matte finish that can often look dull in high-resolution images.
- The Eyes: Depending on the mood board, I play with depth. I can create a subtle, defined smokey eye that adds sophistication, or a sharp, colorful liner if we are going for a fashion-forward statement.
- Versatility: I understand that campaigns often require multiple looks. During a half-day or full-day session, I am happy to rework hair and tweak makeup intensity—shifting from a soft, natural aesthetic to something bolder for the final shots.
