Featured Dance Choreography and Student Performances
A look into the energy, scale, and stories behind our favorite projects—from school annual days to inter-school competition wins.
This is what pure joy looks like. I choreographed and managed the annual day for St. Joseph’s School, guiding over 200 pre-primary students to own the stage. Hearing the teachers' happy reviews after they were initially nervous about the scale of the event was the best reward.
This is one of my proudest moments. My student Tisha delivered a powerful solo performance at the Vibgyor Viva competition, winning 2nd Runner Up among 200+ participants. She achieved this just days after a leg injury, showing incredible resilience and dedication.
My personal coaching sessions go beyond just teaching choreography. Here, I challenged a student to create her own footwork within a small, defined space. This exercise is designed to spark creativity and build a dancer's confidence from the ground up.
The smiles say it all. This is the talented team from St. Thomas Jr College celebrating their 1st runner-up victory at the 'Waves' intercollegiate dance festival. It was a joy to choreograph their routine and see their hard work pay off.
As a frequent judge at school dance competitions like this one at St. Anne's High School, I get a clear view of what makes a performance truly stand out. This experience gives my students an edge, as I train them with a judge's eye.
Capturing the energy and excitement with the amazing students of Gurukul English School after their annual day performance. Working with large groups of enthusiastic kids is chaotic and fun, and I love every minute of it.
About Featured
Managing 200+ students for an annual day requires more than just choreography—it needs a clear system. Our team maintains a 1:25 instructor-to-student ratio, ensuring that every child gets individual attention while keeping the rehearsals fast-paced and fun. We focus on high-impact formations so the group looks perfectly synchronized even with different skill levels.
At Natarani, we treat every performance as a story. Whether it is a school annual function or a solo competition routine, our goal is to bring out the 'josh' in every dancer.
The Judge’s Perspective
Having judged school dance competitions like those at St. Anne’s, I bring a unique edge to my coaching. I know exactly what creates a winning performance—clean lines, sharp transitions, and confident stage presence. When we train a team for an inter-school fest, we don't just teach steps; we build a scorecard-optimized strategy.
School Production Dynamics
Handling large-scale events for schools means dealing with chaos in the best way possible. From my experience with institutions like St. Joseph’s, I’ve learned that the key to a successful show is keeping the students engaged. We use creative drills and 'jugaad' (problem-solving) to ensure that even kids who have never danced before feel like stars under the spotlight.
Individual Growth
My personal coaching goes deeper than technique. I love challenging students, like my student Tisha, to find their own creative flow within small, defined spaces. Witnessing a dancer overcome an injury or a shy student gain the confidence to lead a team is why we do what we do. If you are looking for choreography that builds confidence as much as it nails the steps, we would love to chat.
