About Family & Outdoor Portraits
When I shoot families, I do not look for perfect, frozen smiles. Whether we are in my Dronagiri studio with controlled, classic lighting or out in a local park, I wait for that split second when the kids are laughing at a private joke or parents are just naturally hugging. It is never about 'say cheese', it is about the real bond you share.
Photography is about the flow of energy, and that is as true for a family session as it is for anything else I have captured. In my studio, we control the environment, which is perfect for classic, timeless portraits where the focus is entirely on your expressions and connection. We use soft lighting and simple backgrounds to ensure that the attention stays on the love within your family.
When we take the session outdoors, the dynamic changes. The sunlight, the wind, and the space allow kids to move freely, which is where the best candid moments often happen. My job as your photographer is to be a quiet observer, guiding you just enough to get comfortable while staying out of the way of your actual interactions. I bring the same patience to family shoots that I do to my newborn work, making sure everyone feels relaxed and at ease.
