About Behind The Scenes: The Making Of a Dream Home
When I work on a site, my focus shifts from the broad aesthetic to the microscopic details. Whether it is matching the veining on Italian marble slabs or ensuring the PU finish on wardrobes is flawless, I believe the hidden work is what actually defines luxury. You are not just paying for a final look, but for the precision of the execution that happens long before the furniture arrives.
The Reality of Luxury Design
Many people only see the final, polished photographs of a completed project. However, the journey to that finish is intense. It begins with precise 3D renders that we actually commit to following. I do not just design spaces; I manage the site to ensure the vision stays intact.
My Approach to Execution
- Material Selection: I personally select every piece of marble and every sheet of veneer. For recent luxury projects, this meant ensuring that the book-matching on Statuario marble was perfect.
- Technical Standards: Whether it is the cove lighting in a false ceiling or the heavy-duty soft-close mechanisms in a modular kitchen, if it does not meet my quality standard, it does not make it into your home.
- Customization: I work closely with my clients in Mumbai and Pune to understand how they live. Do you need hidden storage for daily clutter? Are you looking for a minimalist aesthetic or something more opulent? My team and I handle the end-to-end execution so you do not have to manage the chaos of renovation.
Ultimately, my goal is to deliver a space that feels like yours, not a showroom. By staying involved from the first floor plan to the final styling, I ensure that the luxury is functional, durable, and deeply personal.
