I’m Taniya, a girl who lives between Bangalore and New Jersey, fueled by dance and caffeine. This is my hustle, my roots, and why I care about your dance floor.

A little introduction to me. I dream, breathe, and live dance, and there's nothing more fulfilling than making you feel good while you do it. This is the passion I bring to my business.

A look at the reality of being an entrepreneur. It's stressful and involves a lot of late nights, but building something that's yours is worth every second. This is the hustle behind my dream.

The life of a wedding choreographer on her day off. Even when I'm relaxing, I'm thinking about my clients and the amazing performances we're creating together.

This moment right here, the post-sangeet hug with a happy, glowing bride, is my biggest reward. My goal is to make the entire process fun and stress-free, so you can just enjoy your celebration.

The post-show glow is real. Here I am in my company t-shirt, feeling grateful and excited after a successful sangeet show.

My happy place: a beautifully decorated sangeet stage, ready for the performances to begin. I coordinate with all the vendors to ensure the show runs smoothly.

POV: you're a wedding choreographer and after a successful show, you have to join in the fun on the dance floor. This is the best part of the job.

This journey can be taxing, but the hustle is so worth it. This is a reminder to all my fellow female entrepreneurs to thank yourself and keep going.

A fun fact about the self-employed life. The grind is real, but I wouldn't trade the freedom and fulfillment for anything.

A reminder that there's space for everyone to win. I believe in community over competition and love supporting other women in business.

About My Story: The Girl Behind the Moves

I didn't start this business from a boardroom, but from late nights, lots of chai, and a genuine obsession with making people feel happy on stage. I know that the 'sangeet stress' is real, and my goal isn't just to teach you steps; it's to make sure you're having the time of your life while doing it. Whether you're in NJ or Bangalore, my focus is on keeping it real—no rigid, robotic routines, just pure vibes and fun.

My journey as a choreographer is probably best described as a cross-continental rollercoaster. I’m a Bangalore-meets-New Jersey girlie, and my life is pretty much a split-screen between international flights, F1 Sundays, and endless dance practice. I built TDC Wedding Choreography because I realized that the magic at a wedding doesn't come from perfect, professional-level dancers. It comes from the awkward first attempts, the laughter, and the post-show glow.

Everything I do is rooted in the memories I have dancing with my own family. My Nani, who was the ultimate inspiration, taught me that dance is about feeling, not just performing. That’s why you won’t find me pushing for complex acrobatics if you're uncomfortable. I specialize in taking people with 'two left feet' and turning them into confident performers who can own their sangeet stage.

I’ve spent over a decade training, but my true test has been the hustle of running a business from the ground up. I’ve learned that the most rewarding part of my work isn't the final video—it’s the look on a bride's face after a successful family flashmob or seeing a couple finally get their rhythm right. When you book me, you're not just hiring a choreographer to run through 10-12 songs. You’re getting a partner who cares about your timeline, coordinates with your vendors, and helps manage the chaos so you can actually enjoy your event. Let's make your sangeet a celebration, not a rehearsal.

I'm Taniya. I traded the corporate grind to build this, and I genuinely believe that anyone can dance if they just let go of the pressure. I bring the same energy to your wedding that I bring to my own family functions—plenty of heart, some killer thumkas, and a lot of chai.
