Hand-Painted Home Decor & Custom Murals
A showcase of my recent projects, from revitalizing old furniture to painting detailed mandirs and walls for homes across Delhi.
A client asked me to create a special mandir for their home. On the outside, I painted the ten avatars of Vishnu, and when you open the doors, you see a painting of Tirupati Balaji. It made them very happy, and that is the most important thing for me.
This was a large wardrobe that I painted on-site. The client loved nature, so I created this scene with a peacock and beautiful hanging flowers to turn their room into a peaceful space. Seeing the finished work always brings a smile to my face.
This is how I give a new life to an old wooden chest of drawers. The client wanted to keep the beautiful wood finish, so I added a delicate floral design in soft colours. This kind of work, reviving a *purani cheez*, is something I truly enjoy.
My work is not just traditional. A client who loves cars asked for a painting of his favourite Porsche on his garage cabinets. I can paint any design that is special to you, whatever the subject may be.
Yes, I can even paint on your handbag. This video shows me adding a detailed floral pattern to a simple black bag, making it a one of a kind piece. It is a joy to paint on any surface you give me.
Here I am working on a large puja ghar door, painting cows in the Pichwai style. I work on-site, so you can see the art come alive in your own home. The details in these traditional designs are very important for creating a sacred feeling.
A client wanted to change their old cane chair. They asked for a pastel lilac colour, so I mixed the shades to give it a soft, new look that matched the wall I had also painted for them.
About Featured
I work directly at your home, whether I am painting a wardrobe door, a dining table, or a wall. You can watch the progress and tell me exactly how you want the finish, so the final result is exactly what you imagined for your space.
My process is simple. We start by discussing what you need, whether it is reviving a 'purani cheez' (old object) that has sentimental value, or adding art to a blank wall. Once we agree on the design—be it Pichwai art for your mandir, floral motifs on a chest of drawers, or a custom scene for your garage cabinets—I bring my paints and brushes to you.
Why I paint on-site:
- Transparency: You see the sketch and the painting come alive in your own light and space.
- Customization: If you want a specific shade or a small change in the pattern, I can make it right then and there.
- Surface Protection: I use high-grade acrylics for handbags and smaller accessories, and enamel-hybrid paints for furniture. For every furniture piece, I finish with multiple coats of PU (polyurethane) sealer. This makes the surface durable enough to wipe with a damp cloth so your art stays clean and protected from daily wear.
What I specialize in:
- Mandir & Spiritual Art: I use miniature-style detailing, often with gold highlights, for deities like Radha-Krishna or Tirupati Balaji.
- Furniture Revamp: I take console tables, wardrobes, and dining sets that have lost their shine and give them a fresh look with floral vines, Mughal buta work, or modern patterns.
- Personal Items: Handbags and lampshades also get a new life with hand-painted details.
