Hand-Painted Puja Ghar & Spiritual Art
I bring traditional Pichwai, miniature, and spiritual art directly to your puja space, creating a serene corner for your daily prayers.
A client requested a portrait of Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji for a special panel in their home. I painted it with great care and detail, in a style similar to traditional Indian miniature paintings, to create a piece worthy of reverence.
This is a Pichwai style painting I did on a wall panel. It shows the sacred cow and calf surrounded by lotuses and temple bells. This art form is perfect for bringing a feeling of peace and tradition into a home.
For this project, I painted a set of three wall panels in the Pichwai style. The main panel shows a decorated cow and calf, with a palm tree and flowers on the side panels, creating a complete, beautiful scene for the wall.
This video shows the process of painting Goddess Saraswati on a lampshade. I start with a simple sketch and then add layers of colour to bring the deity to life. Even a small object can become a source of light and art.
Here I am painting a large Pichwai canvas showing a mother cow with her calf, surrounded by pink lotuses. This traditional art from Nathdwara is very close to my heart. I can create these paintings on canvas in any size you need.
Even a small niche in the wall can become a beautiful mandir space. I painted these lotus flowers inside a backlit niche to create a serene and glowing effect. It shows that you do not need a big space to create something beautiful.
This is a full view of the large, ornate puja ghar doors I painted on-site. The design includes Pichwai cows and lotuses, with beautiful cutouts that let the light shine through, creating a divine atmosphere.
This custom mandir cabinet is one of my favourite projects. The outside doors feature the Dashavatar, and the inside reveals a painting of Tirupati Balaji. I work with you to create a design that is meaningful for your family's prayers.
About Sacred Spaces: Puja Ghar & Spiritual Art
I paint these directly on your mandir doors or back panels, not on pre-made prints. This means I can adjust the size, detail, and colors specifically to fit your prayer room's lighting and layout, ensuring the art looks just right in your home.
When you choose custom spiritual art, you are moving away from mass-produced laminates that lack depth. Whether it is a traditional Pichwai scene with sacred cows and lotuses, or a detailed portrait of a deity like Tirupati Balaji, I work with you to plan the composition. My process starts with a discussion about your space—the size of your mandir, the available light, and the specific deities or themes that hold meaning for your family.
I paint using durable materials, applying a high-quality protective sealer at the end. This is crucial for puja spaces, as it ensures the artwork can withstand the smoke and oils from diyas and agarbattis, keeping the colors fresh for years. I also specialize in modernizing mandir shutters with laser-cut-style designs or niche backlighting, creating a glowing, divine atmosphere. Because I paint on-site, you can see the work progress in your own home, ensuring the final piece is exactly what you envisioned.
