Color Analysis: Find the Shades That Make You Glow

Not all purples are created equal. Here, I'm showing my client the difference between a warm purple and a cool purple. You can see her face light up when we find the perfect eggplant shade that harmonizes with her cool undertones.

Finding the right shade of pink for this client, who we discovered is a 'Winter'. The first shade is a bit dull, but the second, a cool pink, is in perfect harmony with her skin. She even mentioned it's a color she already loves to wear.

Neutrals are the foundation of a great wardrobe, but even they have undertones. In this clip, I'm testing different shades of brown to find the one that brightens my client's face. A warm, cinnamon brown was the clear winner for her.

It's all about finding the right contrast. A lighter blue is just okayish for this client, but when we drape a deeper, richer blue, you can see it instantly looks better. This is how we pinpoint the exact depth of color you need.
