Thoughtful Workspace Design and Office Interiors

We design workspaces where architecture supports the work itself. Whether it is a quiet micro-office or an open-plan corporate studio, we focus on light, raw materials, and spatial flow to create environments that invite focus.

A small workspace we designed for a journalist, seen from the terrace. The use of OSB wood for all interior surfaces creates a warm, monolithic feel, while the large glass opening connects the office to the outdoors.

The same OSB-clad workspace viewed from the outside at dusk. The warm interior light creates an inviting glow, turning the small office into a welcoming beacon.

An interior detail of the journalist's workspace, showing the rich texture of the OSB walls and the simple, functional built-in shelving. The design is minimalist yet highly practical.

A corner in the Aamor office, where we played with shades of black and the dramatic effects of natural light. The result is a moody, sophisticated space perfect for quiet contemplation or focused work.

A bathroom in a workspace designed with a focus on darkness and contrast. The interplay of shadow, reflection, and sharp accents of red light creates a bold and memorable experience.

About this collection

When designing workspaces, we often rely on materials like Oriented Strand Board (OSB) to create a warm, tactile environment that feels grounded. In our project for a journalist, using OSB for wall panels created a monolithic, cozy feel, while large glass panes connected the interior to the terrace, ensuring that the room felt open despite its compact footprint. This balance between privacy and connection is a core part of our approach.

Architecture is rarely about just the aesthetics. For a workspace to function, it must respond to the nature of the work being done inside. We approach office design by first understanding the mood required. Is it a space for deep, solitary concentration or a collaborative hub?

We often toggle between extremes. In some projects, like the Aamor office, we lean into darkness and contrast, using chiaroscuro to define zones of focus. The interplay of shadow and light creates a sophisticated atmosphere that quiets the mind. In other projects, like the journalist's workspace, we maximize exposure to natural light and the outdoors to keep the environment breathable and inspiring.

Our process is always grounded in physical prototyping. We do not rely solely on screen renders. We make models to understand how light falls on a surface at different times of the day. We test materials like exposed concrete, brick, and rattan to see how they age and how they hold the warmth of the sun.

By staying involved from the initial sketch to the final site supervision, we ensure that the design intent is not lost during construction. Whether you are looking for a compact micro-office in Delhi or a larger corporate studio in the hills, our goal is to build a space that feels like a natural extension of your practice.
