About The Bridal Palette: A Whisper of Elegance
We don't just point and shoot. Our bridal portrait sessions are fully directed by our team. I work with you to find poses that feel natural, adjusting the lighting—often using soft, diffused daylight or subtle shadows—to ensure your jewelry, makeup, and expression are the focus. We spend 30 to 45 minutes on these sessions, ensuring you feel comfortable and composed before the day's rituals begin.
Crafting Your Bridal Look
When we step into a bridal portrait session, the goal is to capture more than just a dress or jewelry. We focus on the emotion behind the look. Using equipment like the Canon R5 and Sigma Art prime lenses, we create a shallow depth of field that isolates you, making the portrait feel cinematic rather than documentary.
Our Technical Process
I personally handle the color grading for every portrait. This is what gives our work its signature look—warm, rich tones, deep shadows, and skin retouching that enhances rather than hides your natural beauty. Whether you are wearing a traditional silk saree or a modern lehenga, we adjust our lighting setup to complement the color palette of your attire and the venue background.
What to Expect
- Directed Posing: We guide you through poses that feel editorial yet comfortable.
- Lighting Expertise: We bring our own reflectors and portable LED lights to handle difficult venue lighting, ensuring you always stand out.
- Style Coordination: We are happy to coordinate with your makeup artist and stylist beforehand to ensure the final frame aligns with the vintage or modern aesthetic you desire.
Our portraits are meant to feel like scenes from a movie. We encourage you to bring a few pieces of jewelry or an heirloom that holds meaning, as these small details often become the highlight of the portrait.
