Capturing Sacred South Indian Muhurtham Rituals
Your Muhurtham is a blend of sacred traditions and deep emotion. I make sure every ritual, from the Oonjal to the final blessings, is preserved in its most authentic, cinematic form.

About South Indian Muhurtham: Sacred Vows
A common worry couples have is missing out on the small, sacred details because everything moves so quickly during the Muhurtham. I always assign one team member specifically to focus on these symbolic moments—the precise placement of the Akshatai or the exact look in your eyes during the Mangalyam—so you do not just remember the day, but can relive those exact seconds in your album.
The South Indian Muhurtham is a ceremony of layers. Beyond the primary vows, it is the sequence of small, traditional actions that defines the event. Whether you are following Tamil, Telugu, Iyengar, or Kerala rites, my goal is to document the sanctity of these customs without interrupting the flow of the ceremony.
My Approach to Rituals
I treat rituals with the respect they deserve. I am intimately familiar with the flow of a traditional Muhurtham, which allows me to anticipate key moments before they happen. From the Kasi Yatra to the tying of the Thali, I position myself to capture the reactions of both the couple and the family members observing the rites. My photography style is candid, meaning I prefer to remain unobtrusive, allowing you to focus on the ceremony while I frame the emotion behind it.
What to Expect
For your Muhurtham, I deploy a 4-person crew: a candid photographer, a traditional photographer, a cinematic videographer, and a traditional videographer. This team structure ensures we cover multiple angles simultaneously. While one photographer captures the close-up emotion of the bride and groom, another secures wide shots of the venue and the surrounding family atmosphere.
