My character portraits all start with a sketch. This process video shows how I build the face, add stylized features, and use color and shading to create a finished piece of digital art that has depth and personality.
About Behind the Art: My Process
Every piece follows a strict workflow: we start with a rough sketch to lock in the composition, then build the layers. For digital art, I use Procreate to layer your vision, ensuring that whether it is a music poster or a portrait, the graffiti lettering and color pops are sharp. You get two rounds of revisions on the final output, so we can tweak the elements until it hits just right.
How I Build the Vibe
My process is not about taking shortcuts. Whether I am painting a massive mural on a wall or designing digital album cover art, it all starts with the same energy: the hustle.
The Digital Workflow
For digital projects, I work directly on my iPad. I start by mapping out the layout, focusing on the core characters or typography first. Once the structure is solid, I dive into the details—this is where the graffiti influence comes in. I use bold outlines, wild colors, and custom lettering to make sure the art screams. If it is an album cover or a streetwear design, I optimize the file for high-res printing or streaming platforms (3000x3000px at 300 DPI) right from the start.
Mural and Physical Art
When I am out in the field painting, the process changes but the intent stays the same. I scout the location, prep the wall to ensure the spray paint and acrylics stick, and then execute. It is physically demanding, but that is the bahut hard kaam that makes a piece real. I handle projects all over India, so if you have a space that needs a massive mural, we plan the scale and theme before the first spray hits the wall.
Collaboration
I believe in transparency. You are involved from the initial sketch to the final result. I do not just send a file and disappear; we discuss the vibe, the character traits, and the color palette. If you have a specific fantasy element or a street-style twist in mind, tell me. I am here to make your vision real.
